Hi, thanks for visiting my site! My name is Joaquin Uriarte, and I am a data engineer by day and a software engineer by night. Based in San Francisco, I'm passionate about building software systems and would love to continue growing in this field.
Here are way too many photos of me (I was enjoying the carousel effect) and some of my proudest projects! Feel free to reach out!
Telescope
MacOS app for finding files on your computer with natural language.
This project came out of the Runcased Hackathon, where my friend and I won first place among 15 teams and 33 participants, taking home the $1,000 prize.

WhatsApp Helper Bot
A WhatsApp bot to assist me with tasks in my groups.
I'm currently developing this bot to assist with various tasks within my WhatsApp groups, with upcoming support for shared calendar interactions. To use it, I simply send a message tagging the bot (currently named @Lucho).

Day Work with Accenture
Engineered and optimized Google Store's marketing data infrastructure, leading end-to-end pipeline development, architectural improvements, and data quality enhancements that significantly reduced errors while enabling advanced analytics and attribution modeling.

Web Analytics Infrastructure for Startup
Set up full-stack web analytics infrastructure for a startup, enabling product usage tracking and metrics reporting.
I implemented end-to-end data infrastructure to track user interactions on a friend's startup webapp. Using Google Tag Manager, I captured key events and funneled them into GA4 and BigQuery. I built all necessary SQL scripts and scheduled pipelines to process daily usage data, then connected the outputs to custom dashboards with visuals tailored to the team's KPIs.
